Exhibition 24 is, in the literal sense, a tour. Six rooms, three voices, and a single week in which to keep your attention. We have not built a thesis show. We have built a slow building.
Lisa Tamura's rooms ask you to wait. Javier Ortega's ask you to doubt what you see, and then look again. Kira Nordström's ask, finally, what it might mean for a colour to be a decision.
If you spend the whole afternoon, you will have spent the afternoon correctly. The benches are not decorative. There is no audio guide on purpose.
The Kunsthalle has been quietly here since 1918. We are independent, member-supported, and indifferent to trends. We hope, with care, the rooms find you.
